(Entry And Exit Routes To Your Deer Stand video transcript)

With turkey season winding down across the country, many turn their attention to fishing. But, what about you deer hunters? Stick with us for the N1 Outdoors N1 Minute.

Deer stand strategy

For you hunters out there, the wait until the start of deer season can seem like an eternity. But don’t just sit around waiting. It’s never too early to start thinking about access routes to your stand. Start clearing now, and it will only take a few minutes in the weeks prior to the season and will limit the amount of scent you leave in those locations.

Wind Direction

Remember, wind direction is critical to entry and exit routes so you want to do everything you can to stay downwind of bedding areas as well as travel routes that lead to food sources. Thanks for joining us for this edition of the N1 Outdoors N1 Minute.
